Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide a range of services to help people maintain recovery from addiction to alcohol and drugs.
Values
We value the spiritual principles of the Twelve Steps (Honesty, Open-mindedness and Willingness), and we believe that abstinence is the most efficacious lifestyle for addicts. This philosophy underpins all our activities.
We will keep the Twelve Steps as the core and focus of the residential project known as Bosence Farm Community including its move on houses and aftercare service.
We will be open to flexibility, to new ideas and to partnership working where they complement the Twelve Step Model.
Other projects may be developed that do not have the Twelve Steps as the core and focus provided there is no direct conflict with the abstinence goal of the Twelve Steps model.
We will treat all service users as individuals and empower them to take responsibility for their own recovery.
We will help service users enhance their life skills so they can minimize harm to themselves and others, live free from addiction and develop their full potential and independence.
We will provide safe and secure environments free from all aspects of abuse.
We will value our paid staff and volunteers as our most important assets.
We will actively engage service users in the planning, design and delivery of services.
In all our activities we will operate a policy of Equal Opportunity free from Discrimination and Harassment.
